Most frequent questions and answers
After your session takes place, I select the best of the best images and carefully and artistically process them. Each image will be analyzed and processed to create the very best image for you to enjoy.
Depending on the type of image viewing you choose (either in-person or an online gallery), you can expect to view your photos within 2 weeks.
I realize that you are excited and anticipating viewing your images and for this reason I send a sneak peek to you the same day as your session or soon after.
Every session will have a private online gallery in which to view your images. You may choose your favorites from the gallery. The gallery will be active for 2 weeks.
If it is early in the day, chances are it won’t be raining when your session is scheduled. If it is, then we can either go to the studio or reschedule.
All newborn sessions take place at my studio in Greenwood. Other types of sessions can either be in studio or on location.
Maternity sessions should take place when you are 24-36 weeks. We want your belly full and round but also want you comfortable when posing.
It is best to schedule your newborn session 2-3 months before your due date to ensure availability. Once your baby arrives, we will confirm your session date.
Most of the newborn sessions happen when your tiny new bundle is 5-14 days old. This is the best time to get those wonderful curly poses.
It is however understandable that you may need to schedule the session when your baby is older than 2 weeks (example NICU). This is perfectly fine also! Older newborns do just as well.
This is the time we get to document that wonderful little bundle! These sessions can take anywhere from 1-4 hours – depending on the session you have booked and the baby. I have everything needed to create these treasured images – from blankets, wraps, and other props. There is no need to bring anything for the actual photos. I will take my time to soothe and comfort your baby so I can get the best possible images for you. The studio will be warm and toasty so that baby stays comfortable. Your job is to relax and take in all the adorable sweetness of your baby!
Depending on the type and length of session you desire – newborn collections start at $400.
All sessions require a $150 session fee to book your session.
Belle Haven Photography also makes use of payment plans if that is something you would like to explore.
That’s ok! I have a few resources that will help you pick the best colors and type of clothing for your portraits. I am available to help in any way!
For my maternity clients, I have a Maternity Client Closet available with many gowns/outfits to choose from. There is no extra charge for this service.
